Austin Metcalf's death was not about race until the influencers got hold of it. Now, the clout chasers have exploited the story to divide people eager to fall for the psyop. When will we learn?
Yeah a lot of woke people will assume that a white guy doing something shitty to a black guy is about race. It could be something else.
But then a lot of the online right will assume that if a black guy does something shitty to a white guy that it is about race.
Who knows? Human interactions are complex. Maybe the white guy is just an asshole and had a bad day and the black guy just happened to be there for the beating.
Maybe the black guy is just pissed off and the white guy is the one thing he has to take some aggression out on.
I'm from an island where a local woodcarver visited your country and was immediately executed on the street by a police officer for walking down the road.
Saying black people are not more violent is crazy. The fbi crime statistics you linked to in this very article list African Americans as 46% of arrests for violent crimes under the age of 18.
The behavior of the black community online over the incident, justifying the needless death of this teenager as self defense and labeling him as a racist and a bully is horrible and unacceptable behavior that comes from a place of racial hatred towards white people, you’ll never see the black father of a dead black son tell anybody not to make the situation about race. These internet grifters stoking the flames of racial hatred in this country for money and fame aren’t the source of our disconnect they’re just the natural parasites that feed off of it.
I don’t care about whataboutism, I’ve just lived in Alabama for long enough to know we’re not compatible and it’s the Jews trying to force us to live together.
I have friends all over the color spectrum. This won't affect, one iota, how much I care for them or trust them. They'll keep working this and we need to keep saying, 'NO'! Take heart, there are tons of people who are not on social media who are normal decent folks whose mind this event won't change at all. Social media is also infested with bots not real people. Soros influencers...ignore all of them.
As a parent who has attended dozens of high school sporting events, it is common knowledge that a tented area belongs to that team. I cannot imagine that this is in dispute at any event. An aerial photo taken as part of the investigation shows the tent to be one of the standard sizes commonly used by high school teams. There was plenty of room for others to sit elsewhere.
A reasonable question would be why would the assailant be under a tent to which he had no right? Was it currently raining? If so, how hard? Sleet, hail…? Were others, unaffiliated with the team, under the tent or was he the only one? Did his presence cause others who had the right to use the tent to not have space to do so? Was he asked nicely to leave? What was his response? How quickly did it escalate? Was he a member of an opposing team or a spectator? Did his affiliation have a tent? Were adults present…coaches, parents?
Let’s get answers to those questions.
Then, let’s ask this: Why was he carrying a weapon to a track event, or any high school sports event? Did he go to school that day? If so, did he take the knife? If so, is that allowed? We probably know that answer.
Lots of questions…few answers for now.
Can we agree that choirboys don’t carry deadly knives?
Local press reported in at least one report that Anthony was cutting school that day and was not a participant in the track event. Also that the social media account of the police chief or sheriff had been hacked and a fake message posted.
You are absolutely correct. Both the far right and far left will use any black/white tragedy to split us. When I first heard about this, I thought how sad it was that the white young man was a bit-time athlete, good grades, and just possibly, a big fat bully and the young black man was no doubt mad and scared at the same time and had an knife which he saw as an equalizer and he would threaten the two brothers and they would back off. Things got out of hand and a young man died. That may not be what went down. With his brother as the only witness, we may never know the whole truth.
Oh, for goodness sake. That was the last I heard about it. I am not looking to sow division! On the contrary! We were not there. You were not either. I did not post about this. I commented on another's post. You were looking to get a piece of somebody and chose me. You missed the mark.
According to several reports in local news his brother was not a witness to the stabbing. There were a number of witnesses though. The brother was notified after the stabbing and rushed to his brother's side. Anthony was already gone. But your assumption when you "heard about this" coupled with your need to post about it, not to mention spreading innaccurate information that his brother was the only witness, belies your concern about sowing division.
So you have pointed out people on the "extreme" right and "extreme" left, which I would not give them an extreme label, and condemned their positions on this tragedy. Having listened to Whitlock a few times, I would say he must have had something in there about the lack of fathers in the black youth's life as being one of the main problems because that is one of his hobby horses. I acknowledge the point you are making about the addition of racial tension being added to an incident, which on the surface doesn't seem to be motivated by race. If we had a real media, we might get some straight facts on a lot of issues plaguing our country right now.
My question would be, you have pointed out the influencers muddying of the waters, but you did not put forth any solutions to combat this problem you were identifying. I don't have one either other than someone arising from the Phoenix on both sides who can draw the line in the sand and cross over to the other side, with the nation following, shaking hands as they cross and high fiving each other. And if I thought that would stop all fights and disagreements, I will have to give you a check for those bricks you have from the Brooklyn Bridge. But at least they would be over important things, like who bumped me into the wall on the straightaway.
Yeah I keep seeing extreme right wingers saying “it was black on white crime. Of course it is about race.”
they are acting like the mirror image of social justice warriors.
People of different races can be shitty to each other without race being a motive.
There is no real difference between the two sides at this point.
Yeah a lot of woke people will assume that a white guy doing something shitty to a black guy is about race. It could be something else.

People need to just let the facts come out.
Sorry bro but niggers are just inherently more violent, the only villains in this story are the ones trying to hide that fact.
Wow that's crazy.
I'm from an island where a local woodcarver visited your country and was immediately executed on the street by a police officer for walking down the road.
Want to guess what colour the pig was?
Guy prolly deserved it tbh
So the “white man bad” narrative is not going strong? Got it
I called out the "white man bad" narrative plenty of times with this story. I mentioned it in this article too.
Whataboutism doesn't work on me.
The black man bad does not work on me
Sounds like you're falling for the psyop. Your choice.
Ya because basing my decisions on race is being sane
So the black man bad does work on you?
It does not work if that is all you have
So saying that I don’t base my decisions on race means I am not intelligent? Then so be it

Odd that you ignored the other stat I shared...about the percentage of the Black population that commits violent crimes.
But I get it: Those stats are inconvenient for your narrative.
We should all beware demagogues, especially the ones online. They only seek to divide and rob us of our freedoms to destroy our very lives.
13% of the population, 50%+ of the crimes. You can dress that up however you want, but you should not be ignorant of reality.
You Cannot Divide What Was Never United.
I don’t care about whataboutism, I’ve just lived in Alabama for long enough to know we’re not compatible and it’s the Jews trying to force us to live together.
Access To White People Is Not A Human Right.

I agree with this except I think that what you describe is done to assure that government grows to the point where there is no individual autonomy.
I wrote a tip on how this phenomenon works. I call it the Parasitic Outrage Pipeline.

Why do they walk slow across the street when they know damn well you have a green light?
We both know why.
Divide and conquer.
