Jeff, I wish I could concur, but even in little ol' podunk Nevada the citizens don't have influence, let alone control. Anywhere power over people exists, corruption also exists. Real statesmen are gone for the most part, and those who remain have no voice because lobbyists and special interests are in charge. Pay to play. And I'm not in the club.

I wish I had better news, but from the city to the county, state to the federal, The People are cooked.

I'm well aware. Most of my investigative reporting involves corruption at the local level.

Why do they get away with it? Mainly because most people are more focused on national politics than local.

I still maintain that one has far more influence over their local governments than Washington, DC.

I can't even get financial transparency from my Little League board without filing police reports...

You’re calling Pres Trump the most notorious sex trafficker? Shame on you for spreading false information. How rude, you have no proof.

When he ran for re-election, Trump promised to release all of the Epstein Files. After he won his second term, Trump did a 180 and said the files were a hoax. So, the DOJ under Trump didn't release the files for months.

In light of his actions, can you blame people for thinking Trump is part of a sex trafficking ring?

The only reason Trump and the DOJ are now releasing the files is because Congress voted for such action after much public pressure.

I don't think Trump is part of a sex trafficking ring. But I can't knock those who do, especially given the lack of transparency and the lies he's told.
